Jan was born and raised in Saint John. Upon completion of her high school diploma, she received a BA from St. Thomas University and an LLB from the University of New Brunswick.
While she has been engaged in a general private practice, Jan has been sought after by family law clients for her abilities and tenacious approach in advocating for clients that she represents. She maintains her edge among the family law bar through continuing legal education.
Jan and her husband Mark, live in Grand-Bay Westfield where they raised two boys. As a family they are well known among the hockey circles.
